[All wandering tendencies aside, Mytho has been absent from her side for quite a while now, and every day without him compounds her worry. So today, as yesterday, Rue searches for her wayward true love the only way she really knows how: walking all over the village looking for him, and occasionally calling his name.

He doesn't know how to use the book; she has no Duck to accompany her today.]

[Maybe he can see her as he slips into an alley between two of the buildings at the plaza - looking a bit ragged. He's not yet noticed Rue, but he's trying to stay away in general.]

[What was that? Something moved at the edge of her vision. Rue narrows her eyes at the offending alley, waiting to see if anything else happens.]

[There's potentially some loud breathing coming from the alley at least. Mytho clings to a wall, cowering.]

[Rue almost turns away. As she moves, though, she hears something odd coming from that direction, so she goes to investigate instead.

Seeing Mytho flush with the wall like that stops her in the alley's entrance.]

[He looks at her with fear in her eyes. He releases the wall and stumbles back while crying out.]

Is that... what I should do? [He frowns and holds his books closer, making a few uncertain glances around.]

But... [He lets the pause hang for a moment.] I'm not sure who did it. And no one was hurt.

I don't like it. [That much is true. He stares down at the floor.]

But it only bothers me if it hurts. I don't... want trouble.
