Second Shard [Video/Action] Backdated to the 10th
Once upon a time...
There was a prince who had lost his heart. Every day, he would roam the lands in search of it, longing for those feelings that he once possessed. His journey came to a stop when he found his heart in the clutches of a raven. "I'll return your heart to you under one condition," she said to him. "You must promise to love me and only me." The prince had no choice to accept. As he took his heart back and accepted the raven's hand, she became a beautiful princess.
But the prince's heart itself felt betrayed by this choice. He had never wanted to love a raven, regardless of her beauty. And his heart was left wondering if he could truly love anyone with his entire being...
[Video]
[At some point after regaining his first heart shard and coming to recognize it as devotion, he finds himself unsure of his next move. And he flickers on the journal feed with some uncertainty - it was difficult to operate. And he stares into the feed uncertainly before speaking.]
This feeling that I feel...
It's the feeling of devotion. I recognize it.
Tell me. When you feel this feeling... What sorts of things do you do with it? How do you express this devotion?
[Action]
[Afterwards, he wanders through the village, seemingly aimlessly. He spends some time loitering by the fountain and perhaps spontaneously does some ballet. But all the while, he's also seeking Rue, as well as Princess Tutu.]

Yes. Something happened. I regained my feeling of devotion.
Could it even be something such as... dance?
( video. )
And right, right. He asked a question. )
Dance is a wonderful way to express emotions, period. Especially devotion if you put as much effort into the display. ( He talked about being a ballerina. With what she's been told and had read up lately, sounds like that is right up the alley of what they're speaking about. )
( video. )
I see. Those words... they do sounds famliar.
Mr. Cat... He's expressed similar statements...
( video. )
Mr. Cat? I suppose great minds think alike then. { Besides some crucial things they might disagree on heavily. Not like she knew that. } Is he someone of importance? Another friend of yours if I'm allowed to make a guess.
( video. )
( video. )
{ Ballet. She can't help but notice that one constant in his life. Is it somehow that important to him or where he's from it just happens to be the 'it' thing there? Italy had its art. France had its fashion. America had its technology.
Maybe she's reading too much into this. }
So! You desire to express devotion. I guess the next question to that is who you wish to show this devotion to. Much as it is lovely to give it to everyone, one must be wise when exposing themselves. { He definitely learned it the hard way, Addie can't help but think with a touch of syampathy to him. }
( video. )
Devotion? This time, I think that I'm feeling that feeling... towards Rue.
( video. )
{ If she only knew who Mr. Cat really was...
And what's this? Another namedrop? It is! One she doesn't think she heard of before either. Or remember. Hopefully it was the first. }
Rue? Is that a girl in the village here? I had no idea you were already making such closely knit relationships with others so soon. { That's a good thing to her. More friends, more fun in her eyes. }
( video. )
She's here. I've known her.
( video. )
It must be so nice to know you've finally managed to meet someone from where you are. Is she like you? { Wait. She should perhaps clarify that. } She is a 'New Feather' too, no?
( video. )
( video. )
And to ask you: How are you two close if I may ask? Because then that'll explain your feelings of devotion much easier and perhaps you'll find a more appropriate way to express your regards to her. Cause and effect happen to all. Even when it comes to affection. { Whether or not it lasts is a whole other thing but that's Addie being bitter Addie as usual. }
( video. )
[And then he focuses on her question.]
The closeness that was express...
We dance with each other.
( video. )
Perhaps perhaps... Throwing a-- How does one say it? A private dance made only for her can be a way to show your affection. { It should have enough sentimental value in it to be considered authentic and sincere. } What is a better way than performing a dance that was inspired by your feelings towards her? That could be a way to let her know how much she means o you.
( video. )
Okay.
( video. )
I suppose if one wishes to go the extra mile... Perhaps give her flowers after the dance? I can help you look for some that have special meaning to them. That flower language nonsense I've heard before. Supposedly it is all meant to be romantic.
( video. )
They have their own language?
( video. )
{ She snaps her fingers when an example finally pops up in her head. He was the one who had the weird obsession with flowers. Looks like some things stuck to her. } A red rose and a yellow rose. The same type of flower but the color changes everything. A red rose means passionate love while a yellow rose friendship.
